I learned fact that I thought to be interesting. It is stated that 60% of student success is based on the respect they have for themselves.

I learned that it is extremely important to keep the students engaged and to look forward to the next class. It is alright to have fun in class and have group activities, but make sure that the students do not become too competitive with each other. This could cause some students to feel inadequate and left out.

I love opening class with a fun activity. These "ice breakers" really help you to learn who your students are as people and not just as learners. :-)

I teach them how to interact properly with LLMs to learn. I show them the wrong way to use LLMs and how that damages their learning. So they come to class telling me the stories about how they interacted with the LLMs and I comment specially regarding the weaknesses of LLMs and sometimes the strenghts.

The idea of grouping older and younger students together is a good one.

Be excited about what you are gong to teach and teach with enthusiasm.

One point that stood out to me was offering a student advice on how to approach a missed assignment, not just remind them that it is missing.

Make class fun, informative, respectful and still maintain routine.

I like the emphasis on greeting students daily and opening class periods with some humor to gauge the room

This course emphasized on the importance of getting to know your students name on their first day, and asking for a bit of infomation from them so you can get to know them. These actions give the students a feeling of worth and respect.

This module has taught me how important making an effort to learn your students names on their first day is. Also its important to get to know them a little, find out where they came from and where they would like to go. I recently had a classroom of 14 students and the course was over 5 weeks. I struggled to learn everyones name, but I did make an effort to ask each of them to please write their names on a folded piece of paper so over time I could learn their names.

Be creative and show respect. Grant every student an opportunity to establish their identity early in the classroom. It is important that each student be a contributor to the learning experience

Being creative, flexible, and attentive will allow fun and engaging learning. Respect each student and remember each brings different life experiences to the classroom. I will make sure to use positive feedback to encourage and support the students desire to learn.

I see and understand the points given in this presentation and agree. I keep it a hundred percent real with them and keep it professional. being able to relate and adapt to different students is definitely a big attribute I try to have. sharing knowledge and experiences in the field along with other classmates that have experience is a big tool to success in my book.

Showing geniune enthusiasm and excitement for your subject can set a positive tone and can encourage the students to be engaged. Being approachable and accessible is necessary for student success. It is aslo important to personalize the student experience by learning and addressing each by name and recognizing and encouraging their successes.

Instructors "attitudes and moods" are reflected upon students and reflected back to their peers.

I love having the ability and even the encouragement to be fun and creative with my classes!  Funny personal stories related to what you've experienced in the field can be great learning opportunities that don't even feel like learning!

As facilitator of adult learners you must take the "temperature" of the room and guide through times of high emotion to keep students motivated and reward at continuing their educational journey.

Returning to teaching and instructor duties after being out of the education business for a number of years gave me the opportunity to work with and around people of many different backgrounds. Recognizing the difference between passive and active learning was much easier to recognize this time around based on my exposure to today's student.

The subject matter for my class is one of many important aspects of the class.
