In this module I learned the importance of EQ and soft skills.  The higher your EQ the higher soft skills you will have.  EQ is directly linked to learning how to control your emotions, to have better reactions and relationship wtih your students.  

In this module I learned about the importance of Soft Skills and understanding these skills are more valued that tech skills.  Common Sense is considered a Soft Skill that alot of people have it as an innate skill while others have to develop this skill.   

In this module I learned the importance of being motivated and empathetic when teaching students.  You can be a content expert but you need to learn how to teach that content by being enthusiastic and giving feedback to enhance the students learning experience. 

In this module I learned the importance of being motivated and REFOCUS with your teaching plan.  It was very beneficial to understand how to complete this strategy for you as an instructor and to assist you to understand the student better.  I will definitely implement this strategy in my lesson plan.

In this module I learned about the importance of remembering we are teaching adult learners and we need to captivate their attention and maintain their focus.  The aspect of keeping the class energectic and interesting is something that I always try to strive for by creating interactive activities where the students feel they are part of the learning process. 

In  this module I learned about the importance of understanding the students intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.  It is relevant to stay connected to the student and assist them to get the help they need, especially the non-traditional student.  This will assist in avoiding the student from becoming frustrated and causing a negative environment.

These modules have been very useful and informative.  The take away lessons are to always be consistant, transparent, and helpful to the students.  I think that we need to be aware of how we communicate and what we communicate to students, it is important to be honest and create a culture of trust. 

In this module I learned about noncompliancy with students.  It is important to sustain trust and transperancy with the students to avoid misleading them and causing them to dropout or having other negative consequences.   

In this module I learned about Substantial misrepresentation and that we should be careful when talking to students and making sure we do not mislead them.  It is very important to stick to the facts.  

In this module I learned about the importance of representation and always sticking to the facts.  You should never overexagerate the truth and always tell the students the latest accurate information.
