What i have learned is that we continue to see what works and what does not. Try to come up with a system that our students can do and yet succeed.

I will apply this information in my classroom to by continuing to learn about different learning styles.

This is an excellent training module and I'm so glad to be here. I like how this module strongly encourages consistency in however we choose to organize the content in our online course. I also really like how this module explains how students rely on nonverbal cues to shape their expectations and it encourages them to complete the assignments. I also really like the chunking method. I have used this technique for many years in my online teaching experience. Chunking is very beneficial for student learning and it is a learning style that fits many type of online learners. Thank you for this helpful information.

So far I am pumped with this learning tool.  I have learned to set short learning videos no more then 10 minutes.  Students begin to loose interest and information is lost if learning videos are longer.  I understand why my Institute has developed their learning plan in such a manner.  How I can use this information?  I can use these guidelines when developing my power points.

I realize I need to focus on developing a course layout on day 1 showing the structure of each module/week.

Consistency is key.

I understand that the students (and professor) need to know exactly where and how to find each module, and understand what is available within that module. I also am fascinated to learn more about learning objects and how to develop my own.

I have learned that chunking information is the best way to hold a student’s attention. Breaking learning up can help them focus from beginning to end without losing attention and enthusiasm. Being consistent with content delivery sets expectations. I intend to design layouts of checklist for my students for each week so they can follow allow and complete at their pace.

I learned about learning-objects database and plan on utilizing that information.

Having uniform setup for additional consistency and establish automaticity.

Consistency is key! The more you can keep the same, the easier it is for you as the author and for your students.

Being consistent with the framework of assignments so that are used to it, rather than relearning new ways or having to follow a new plan and routine. Making sure that all modules are the same length and take the same amount if time.

I learned about framework for the course modules and how it helps sequence information, which helps students build on prior knowledge. Also having a consistent database/ framework is beneficial to the course.

I learned consistancy is what students like, it makes it eaiser for instructional guidance and student navigation through the online course.

I have learned that consistency is important so that our online learners can quickly identify what it is we are looking for from them to be successful.

I learned courses can be designed chronologically or by course material. I also learned that chunking information into ~10 minute segments is beneficial for keeping the attention of the student.

Create and use a learning object library!

The importance of consistent modules, as far as look and time. Will ensure I am covering all modules at similar lengths.

Ensuring module consistency is crucial for students to easily locate and progress through units of study, as well as to facilitate their access to all course information.

Hello,

From watching the module I've learned that it is best to be as constistent as possible to help my students understand material and expections. Also will assist the students in knowing where to look for information or how is the best to contact myself if they have a question.
