Each instructor will vary in delivery methods. The important aspect is altering methods to reach diverse students needs.

I have been on Hybrid status for years teaching synchronous online zoom meet and hands on Labs, I feel this is best to have same Instructor for all as to keep everyone on the same page and students engaged and motivated to what is coming up next.

I should be familiar with the course delivery methods because there are many things the instructor must know how to do and several questions that I must know how to answer such as: How to access attendance roster online, how to navigate the tabs in Canvas, how to find the gradebook.

I've learned thus far to familiarize myself with delivery techniques by asking myself questions:

How will I deliver the the content: pass arounds, videos, short lectures, case studies

Do students have everything they need to gain access on day one! Passwords, links, web address, etc

I learned that you should view all of your course materials before the start of class. Keep the class engaged and communicate effectively within the class.

There are many useful components to the CMS. So, in order to familiarize ourselves, just click the different links to see what's inside them.

In order to be an effective online instructor, the instructor should be familiar with the delivery system and be prepared to answer student questions. To reach this goal, I go through all labs prior to assigning them to students.

Ensure you have familiarized yourself with the course by assessing it in student mode to ensure it works for the student.

Great content to apply.

Accessibility and Technical Support is very important for online learners as well as instructors.

Success with Online classes, the instructor has to be very knowledgeable, and structure is relevant!

Excellent information on learning styles and conflict management online. The facilitator had multiple discussion topics in the forum that added interest to the modules.

This content reinforced the need to communicate with students regarding all aspects of the course, timeframes, location of tutorials, expectations for the course etc. We can not assume that all students understand how to use the system, therefore an initial orientation is most helpful. Ensuring students know they can reach out for learning and technical support by giving them a link or contact information. As the instructor, we must be comfortable and competent with the course delivery platform.

Reminding them throughout a course that if they have a problem or question to reach out immediately. Many times they wait until it is too late for you to assist them. Engagement is the key. Creativity can help with that, but realizing they need to have various learning styles to hopefully reach them all.

The online platform can be very beneficial to both students and instructors. I feel strongly that as instructors we should learn to navigate and know how to use online tools to enhance learning. I will definitely use it to my advantage to create a better learning environment for my students.

Lots of different techniques for online success.

I have learned that there are several different learning techniques that an instructor can use and for the student to learn from. Understanding the different communication needs are important key to success.

it is essential to create a good learning space for students. students are more comfortable with online work but still require a stimulating environment.

All the support that a instructor will have to help them through teaching.

I need to ensure I understand how to use the CMS platform.

I learned that as an online instructor it is imperative to be prepared to provide support all around for your students. Being available and responding to their needs promptly will contribute significantly to their success.
