Given the nature of tech-dependent students today both in the classroom and the virtual classroom, there is actually a MH condition called 'text-anxiety,' that I have found translates into the rapidity with which we answer their emails. I find that anything more than 12 hours creates a certain level of anxiety that sometimes manifests as acting out or withdrawal from group activities.
