I already use a CMS, so I have not learned alot so far. However, it did give me very specific ideas on what to put in my expectations letter to students.
I learned that it is important to understand how a course is organized, including where to find assignments, quizzes, discussions, and course resources. I also learned that I should review grading policies, due dates, and course expectations early so I can stay on track. I plan to apply this by checking the course schedule regularly, staying organized, and reaching out for help if I have questions.
I have learned when lessons are online students are more confident in the work they have to get done even when they have more then 1 instructor.

Successful online course delivery requires consistency, organization, and regular communication. Students are more likely to stay engaged when expectations are clear, course materials are easily discoverable, and instructors maintain an active presence.
I think one of the things that stood out to me was consistency in the rules of assignments/discussions/etc. Not only is it important to have this consistent class to class but could also potentially be important for that decision to be made as a department or even an organization. This helps students better adhere to those standards when they stay consistent.
I learned that as an online instructor, one needs to make sure that the students know when you are available, what the expectations are of the course, how they can get support if they need technical assistance, how they can reach to the instructors. As an instructor, I need to know how to access the student's roster, grade book, chat, Discussion post, know my way around CMS.
I learned that I will need to become familiar with the major causes of conflict for on-line learners in order to be able to troubleshoot as necessary. This will involve taking the same orientation to the Course Management System the students take to understand its' components. I am curious about learning to project my presence in the on-line learning environment.
Quality online courses need to be organized and have Intellectual Interaction, for students to prosper. I’m old school and prefer the on campus/in classroom lecture settings. However, I understand the new online avenue is the new era and it can all work well with learning and technical support.
I learned that instructional support and technology go hand in hand to enhance the student learning experience.

I have learned that you will be a much more effective instructor if you are completely competent and confident with the entire program. One of the most important thing in instruction for me is to keep the student interested and engaged and this program can help. Students can feel more included in their education. All students learn differently and it is important to make the courses useful to all students.
Knowing the different ways to connect with the students when needing help, having a good understanding of the different technologies they use and being able to understand how to troubleshoot over text is huge. Keeping up with grading and giving feedback. Posting assignments in a timely manner as well. It's one giant system that us instructors are the captain of.
I've learned that the Module structure for students and Instructors can be successful, as long as we all implement the correct subject matter and give our students the Knowledge and support they need
I have learned that it is imperative that I familiarize myself with all of the course content. Make sure that I am always prepared and know all of the information that needs to be taught. Make sure that I am comfortable enough to answer any and all questions. That I have opened all course components for the class and close them in a timely manner.
When the systems are organized and structured, students have more confidence, and even when there are different teachers, lessons are still effective.
I have learned that there is variation in how learning is delivered as much as there is variation in how learning is received..
I learned that it is important to know how to use the LMS (Canvas). Students need consistency and knowing how to navigate the LMS helps promote confidence and consistency from the instructor-side. Also posting grades and input in a timely manner helps connect with the students. Interactive lessons help too!
