Creating a lesson and delivery methods are understanding well during this module. I exteremly gree with the following:
1-Students like variety in delivery to help keep them focused
2-Be creative, be competent, and be personable and as a result you will be rewarded with student learning that is reflective of the effort you put forth in class preparation.
In my teaching effort, I always sign a project base learning because it helps students to improve understanding and grade.

Develop good lesson plans that incorporate different learning styles in short 10-15 min increments.

Practice multiple teaching styles and demonstrations to keep your class interested. Using different teaching styles will help students who pertain to each style.

I learned the importance of writing a good lesson plan and that it is a skill that will help you as an instructor. Also Using Demo Videos for Technical materials.

There are many different learning styles, and you need to figure out which one would work best for you and your students. I also learn the different formats of lectures.

Goals and objectives are sizeable and applicable to all blocks of instruction and tie into the overall end state.  Quality content and pushing students to develop their assumptions will ensure learning occurs.

An instructor needs to keep the delivery of instructional content interesting and relevant. Students that are interested and engaged will retain more information. The student's also need to learn something and then apply it right away to help them learn the skills to become experts in practice.

Using the tree diagram when preparing lecture notes will be helpful to keep track of the flow of your lecture. Helps you to stay focused and on topic. Great time management tool!

I learned to consider the 15-18 minute attention span of the average human, and to remember to keep things to 5-7 steps, also the limit for the average human being to engage - this is so important to me, because I want my students comprehending AND engaging in my course content.

Include different delivery styles to increase interest and learning from the student. I will use lesson plans that include problem solving, demonstration and opportunity to practice the skills.

There are several ways to deliver course content and using a variety helps keep students engaged and interested.   Any way of delivery must be well planned out and prepared for ahead of time.

Rapport improves retention.

Take into account all learning styles when creating course content. Demonstrating skills to students is also a useful tool for learning.

I should do multiple mini lectures instead of one long lecture as I will grab the students attention and ability to remember more.

It is a good idea to switch lecture methods frequently to keep the curiosity and excitement high to retain motivation and to interact with different types of learners.

Everyone learns different so use different teaching styles to reach more students.  Be prepared and concise.  Practice any demos prior to class.

Keep segments of lecture short to 10-15 minute increments to facilitate learning. I also think as uncomfortable as it may be, that videotaping a lecture may be a great way to self reflects and make changes to your own teaching style.

Key focus was how to push students to learn through content, challenging their assumptions, and learning about themselves. It provided a framework on how to develop course design and lecture presentation.
