I do not have to develop course content; however, I do have to develop the lecture based on the set objectives.
Being prepared for class ahead of time helps ease jitters, inspires confidence, and puts the focus where it should be, on teaching.
I learned a few things. The biggest takeaway is to be an encourager but not a friend because it ruins the student-teacher relationship.
