I took away the importance of developing good lessons plans and using a variety of teaching styles will set up yourself for success and engage your students more effectively.

I felt I took away how to set up the classroom and set expectations, but also learning to make a first impression on students and make them feel welcome at the same time.

I found this very helpful, and took away that the more you plan and prepare with course outlines and syllabus the better your outcome will be. Also I liked the making a to-do list and always having a note pad, which I practice already and have found very useful.
