Getting to know your students is very important to be able to gain report with them and build forms of communication and relatability in the classroom setting.

From this module, I have learned the importance of continuing to motivate students in order to improve their likelihood of success in their career program.

Motivating the students can be the key to their success

I think that empathy is one of our most important attributes as faculty.

To be prepared and show interest in what you’re teaching. Also, to be excited which will intern get the students excited.

Motivation to give them energy towards their passion to learn what they are in school for.!

In this module I have learned that there are many steps in being able to motivate the students. One of the important steps is to show them your own enthusiasm towards and knowledge of the material. Finding ways to be able to motivate the students by using their own knowledge of the material due to life experiences. Having them to be able to mentor/assist other students that maybe struggling with the material will help both the mentor and the mentee.

This was one of my favorite modules. Discussing the importance of empathy that requires us to meet the needs and expectations of our students.  Empathy involves the human factor and more importantly flexibility. Modify our teaching preferences to include strategies that are acceptable to the students is priceless. Motivation through retention, reinforcement and transference sections were some of the best content that will be very useful in day to day instructions.  It is important to know your content, students, never humiliate, transcend the message, be believable....these are the characteristics of a great teacher!

To be encouraging, relating course content to experiential examples, and allowing students to use personal experiences as points of reference helps further the students buy-in and motivation for doing well in the class.

Motivating your students relies heavily on knowing what motivates them. Building rapport and engaging students is foundational to maintaining their drive to succeed.

The more students' needs and expectations are met, the more they are motivated to learn

Be the excitment in the classroom, the motivator.  Be the expert but also not the one who knows every answer.

How to encourage students to set clearly defined goals, expectations, and rules. Also, how to develop meaningful and respectful relationships with students so they can set achievable goals.

Get to know your students so you can connect and identify if they're struggling.

As an instructor, offering students learning techniques that will assist them in learning content for application must be delivered. Developing information retention strategies that will make memory retention easier is a must.

Always stay positive and let your attitude reflex in the course.

Student success is largely on the instructor. It is critical to apply knowledge based, tactical instruction that engages all learners at their level and doing this correctly means knowing your students.

As an instructor it's very important to understand each student and give them the feedback based on their performances which will help them to correct and modify their way of learning and get motivated to learn more about the subject.

it is important to include the learning styles of your students in your teachings.

motivation through instructor enthusiasm!
