Know your students and what motivates them.
Being able to show real world application of what they are learning goes a long way to keep them motivated although it takes a little extra for younger students.
Knowing that it's not enough to be an expert or knowledgeable in the subject matter but being able to engage the students on a personal level and to be motivated and excited in the presentation is equally important.
The difference between semantic memory and episodic memory stood out to me. Bringing the two together is definitely the best way to help students retain information. If you can combine your own episodic memory with theirs, it could increase their respect and understanding of why you are teaching them.
For adult learners, the ability to apply what they've learned in book contexts is crucial. Asking students to complete assignments that you have recently taught them would be a great idea.
Motivating through reinforcement is a great way to give feedback in a timely manner in order for the student to improve in whatever area they are focusing on. I will try to make this a daily goal in order to ease the student's anxiety and frustration from the waiting to hear their results.
Being a good leader and instructor goes a long way, students, need a teacher to inspire them and help them discover a motivational source to help them learn.
Students learn best when content is engaging, relevant, and supported with feedback. I will connect lessons to real-life, give quick feedback, and keep students engaged.
Being motivated to teach the students give student to motivation to learn . Open communication, having interactive conversations, answering questions, and learning each student individually play a factor in a student's success
My enthusiasm directly affects the student's motivation.
Paying attention to each individual student and their reason for being there, is important to understand their learner motivation. From there working on motivation through retention and using expertise, empathy, enthusiasm, and clarity is a recipe for success between students and teachers.
To become a great instructor, it is important to know the students in the class, show respect and understanding and relate content to personal experiences as the expert in a certain course.
Great teachers know their students, I will work hard to ensuring the student feel heard, seen and most importantly educated
I believe it is so important to build the positive relationships and as an instructor remaining excited and creative about the information you are getting ready to present
Staying motivated and excited about the content leads students to feel assured in their decision to select this career path, and motivated to keep learning.
Make the course content relatable to the expectations and past experience. Positive reinforcement.

Being able to apply what they've learned in new settings is very important to adult learners. It is good practice to have students perform projects on topics you have recently taught them about. If you explain how to build something during a lecture the students will want to build that same thing themselves immediately.
