Model/Manage/Motivate

Be prepared

Reflection

keep students. motivated and collect as much information as possible on

the subject you are teaching

I believe leading by example and modeling the behaviors expected are very important when teaching others.  Some students have no idea how to act in a classroom, let alone a profession setting.  It is my hope I can help them learn these behaviors.

Yes I really liked how it was stressed that one has to model the behavior expected.  Leading by example is a wonderful way to teach.

You bring to the classroom and your students your personal competence with your ability to communicate, be creative, and inspire them by showing enthusiasm in your career which may eventually motivate them to progress.

Being a first time teacher, I plan to reflect often on how to better instruct students and help them toward their education/career goals. ALWAYS LEARNING!!

I have learnt and refreshed my memory of what it take to become an instructor. As an instructor, I have to bear in mind that it is the learning by students that is every improtant not the teaching. I have to present myself in a very professional manner, be in charge of the classroom, be a model, motivator and manager. It is also improtant to bear in mind that I need to continually develop myself to be able to excel and impact positively to my students.

Lead by example. I am a big believer in not asking someone to do something that I haven't done myself before.

As a veteran nurse and a new instructor, I will need to take my personal and professional experience to become an effective teacher.

I have learned to model the behavior you expect from your students.

Do not convey the message you are the smartest one in the room

To maintain a professional demeanor at all times, by being a manager and motivator

Improving myself as a facilitator

Model, manage, motivate

Lead by example, show respect, dress professionally are some ways I will set the best example for my students.

Lead as best you can no matter how tough it can get and take it day by day. Show your students the right direction to go for but have make sure they understand what your teaching and lastly have fun with it.

Being a role model and leading by example. Creating an environment that facilitates mutual respect and professionalism.

Implement a professional development plan. Not just an 'Idea'

Being a leader starts with setting the expectations of a positive role model.

Bring Personal Competence and stay up to date on my professional development plan.
