Throughout my journey as an instructor, I have learned that effective teaching goes beyond simply delivering content; it requires engaging students, fostering critical thinking, and adapting to diverse learning styles. By incorporating active learning strategies, such as case studies, simulations, and group discussions, I have seen students become more involved and retain information more effectively.
Additionally, staying current with educational technologies has allowed me to enhance my teaching methods, making complex concepts more accessible and relatable. Continuous self-assessment and seeking feedback from students have also been valuable in refining my instructional approach. These experiences have reinforced the importance of flexibility, innovation, and collaboration in teaching, contributing to both my personal growth and the success of my students.
I learned about instructional styles and how as a new instructor, I can start by thinking about my past instructors and things that I liked and things that were challenging, which can help me develop my style and consider when teaching adult students.

A an instructor I need to remember to serve as a role model, manager, and motivator. To be a positive role I should always keep in mind the "5 C's" Credible, candid, compassionate, committed and clear in my instruction.
