Section/Module IV (4) Quiz Follow-up: U.S. in general vs. In My/Your State

Please note about Quiz #4: I got 100/100 (5/5 questions correct). However, for question on school district/school legal counsel review of WBL program forms, I answered from U.S. standpoint, i.e., this ACTE training, thus correctly. However, in New Jersey (NJ), to me there were multiple correct answers?! This is because forms are required by law per NJ Departments of Labor or of Education, as noted in the NJ Administrative Code for Child Labor (including Wage & Hour and Hazardous Occupations Orders) or for Health and Safety, respectively. Does anyone else live in a state like NJ with more formalized school-sponsored WBL (formerly structured learning experiences), with on- and off-campus as well as paid and unpaid experiences?

Resume and Interview

Making sure that the cover letter matches the resume is critical.  Making sure to remain positive and keep eye contact is critical during the interview.

Emergency Medical Technitian Program

Good Afternoon.

Was wondering if any of you have this program and if you have any feedback about what counts in your institution as the related field?

Thanks,

CS201: Variables Influencing Employment Outcomes

Who would be in the best position to establish and maintain alumni relations in an institution?  What ideas could we use to increase alumni engagement and feedback?

CS201: Variables Influencing Employment Outcomes

The ability of a student or graduate to gain employment depends upon the student's ability to communication effectively with faculty, career center employees, and industry personnel.  So many students require the assistance of talking on the phone in a professional manner, promoting themselves to employers and having confidence in themselves.  Many of the soft skills necessary for having a successful interview are developed throughout their time in the programs through interactions with their peers or with faculty.  Those relationships can be so important to developing successful graduates.
