Recognition and Reward go along way with student success.

Developing a rapport with students creates successful teaching environment.  Involving students in something light hearted in the beginning of the class, sets up the learning environment as fun, and makes the student want to attend class.

Students, many times, emulate their instructor. What a teacher's characteristics are will be illuminated before the students, and they learn a great deal. I think it is important that teachers be motivated in helping learners learn.

I learned that as long as you are being professional, it is okay to have fun in class.

I will try to look for the unknown holidays like "Bring your ballpoint pen day" and implement these into my class.

Care about your students and help them be succesfull

recognizing the importance of being enthusiastic about the subject matter

Always available for my students to encourage them.

Learn to have a genuine interest and care for sthe tudents learning

Self evaluation helps in making sure you are aware of the environment. It allows you to have more insight on what the students see. As an instructor I will make sure to allow the students to lead their learning just as much as I would need to help lead them.

Creative diversions can keep the students intrigued and interested in learning the content you are presenting.  Simple little things can help start the class in a positive lighthearted way.

Getting to know the students by name , treating them as adults and being enthusiastic which helps them motivate. Recognizing &  showing approval daily as well as at the end of learning period.

I agree with this topic. Confidence and enthusiasm in a subject matter can carry over to the students.

One fact that I learned from this module was the importance of remembering names.  I have always been bad with names so I will implement visible name badges and use of students name repeatedly to help me remember names of my students.

Make learning fun but understanding. Sometimes its okay to bring in some jokes and games. As long as the students is understanding and gathering the information, it makes teaching more exciting and fun.

I love the idea of being human and relatable to the students and have light-hearted moments to help keep them engaged.

The importance of providing positive feedback, small rewards, and enthusiasm over even the smallest accomplishment.

In a lot of ways we are entertainers as much as educators. Adult learners can benefit from lighthearted moments and multiple media methods for learning in order to have more approachable course work.

Building relationships with the students and using their names when speaking to them helps them feel more respect for themselves. Being encouraging and paying attention to students' worries assist the students.

Be kind and fair, show your students you care. Be an expert on your subject matter, share your knowledge.
