It is a good class with a lot of resources available to be used in the future.

I do think that the human aspect is key to student retention. When I start a new class I try to remember the names of the students, so that they can feel welcomed to class.

Good reading material and I like the career exploration part. I believe we really need to assess the classroom and adapt our teaching style to the needs of the students. Just last semester I had students in class in a range of 18-56 years old. One of the students never used a computer before. So I had to create groups and assigned more advanced students to help students that struggled with technology.
