Love what you teach, if not, teach something you love.

I believe your students will look to you as a product of where they are going and hope to be one day. It is important to be that roll model for your students and be professional.

As an instructor being a model of what a medical assistant should look like really stuck with me.

Effective leaders lead by example. Showing up for my students and leading them, serving as an example and role model.

Passion and excitement help create engaged students.

Leading by example and maintain growth and development for ongoing Continue education credits

Professional development is essential to strengthening your practice as an educator.

Always have an understanding and open mind.

Model and motivate are big ones for me as it can change the view on how a student will learn and respect me as an instructor.

Be excited about the subject you are teaching - this keeps students interested and makes learning fun

The way I present myself both physically and mentally has an impact on the students. Being prepared and knowledgeable also presenting myself professionally will let the students know I am credible and competent to teach. Being willing to always further my own education is key.

To Model, Manage, and Motivate students babying prepare, having all utilities for learning available to the students, planned out and with confidence in your knowledge of the material you are teaching while maintaining a professional mannerism while doing it.

Arrive to class before the students, stand at the door ready to greet them, and show excitement for the topic you'll be covering!

Knowing your subject goes without saying and knowing yourself is a must in developing the skills to share what you know.

Great information, this would especially be great for a part of a new employee's training! Being the model for students is critical.

Do not try to prove yourself by explaining your experience. That resonated with me. They should get that you are a master of your craft by how you represent yourself and share your knowledge. In other words, actions speak louder than words.

How you present yourself has much more of an impact than most realize.

Professional Instructor style should be able to know their past Professional Instructor, school, students, subject, colleagues, and yourself.

Instructor should have that kind of spiritual charisma to initiate the supportive and motivate the students to reach their career goals

I have learned that I need to try not to be too lenient with my students and give them better structure in the classroom.

I liked how it stated that making it engaging and motivating was more important than "appearing" smart.  As it said there is always someone in that class smarter than you, it's about being a lover of the subject and teaching the subject.
