The biggest take away is that you need to lead by example and that it is not necessary to be student friend, but to have a professional boundaries with student. It is important to make sure that you, as the instructor, does not become a student personnel counselor.
The biggest take away from this module is the concept of modeling professional behavior. Students tend to follow the examples in demonstrations, to the letter in most cases. Why would the mannerisms and actions of the teacher not be emulated?
Lead by example to convey an environment of professionalism and respect.
We need to teach thinking about the 3M : We are a Model, a manager and a motivator. Our competencies will be shown by our techniques, professionalism and our style of instruction.
BE A GOOD CAREER EMBASEDOR (MODEL) FOR YOUR STUDENTS. SHOW THEM (MANAGE)THE SKILLS AND TOOLS THAT THEY MAY NEED THEM FOR THEIR FUTURE CAREER, TRY TO BRING SUCCESSFUL STORY AND SHOE THE HOT DEMAND FOR THEIR CAREER (MOTIVATE).
You cannot facilitate student development and learning without having a good plan for self-development. Keep relevant or fade into antiquated obscurity.

This module reinforced the concept of modeling, managing, and being a motivator are critical components for every teacher and should be applied by modeling professionalism within the classroom. I will continue to implement these principles within my classes.
