As an admission representative it is imperative that we have the knowledge about the rules and regulations that affect us. Being the expert allows us to give each prospective student the proper details, features, and benefits about our school.
It is important that all admissions staff do the required training in the course because it explains why it is crucial to keep up with the new rules and regulations/policies and etc., that way schools can maintain their licensing and accreditations and other factors that is required to operate and to be qualified in these positions.
I have learned that it is necessary to not just complete the training and understand current regulations, but to keep yourself updated as an admissions representative with new terms and policies. Doing so allows you to be a well qualified admissions representative that can apply the knowledge to unique situations regarding students while still maintaining regulatory and institutional standards.
Admission training is essential to make sure agents are constantly up to date and made aware of different policies and procedures.
As a admissions rep, it is vital to stay up to date on all rules, regulations, and policies; so, it is best to keep all documents organized and readily available for reference in order to best assist students. It is also best to spread learning over a few days, so all lessons are understood and absorbed fully.
After going through this module, I have learned about the rules and regulations that is expected of admissions representative and I will be sure to abide by these rules.

I have also learned that it is essential to be familiar with the university catalog, where I can find a great deal of information about the institution, including its history, tuition, and regulations. Another important document is the Enrollment Agreement, as well as understanding the institutional structure and knowing who to contact when I have questions or need clarification.
