I’ve learned that it is essential to understand all the documents that applicants must complete and sign as acknowledgment of their rights and responsibilities within the admissions process.

As an admissions representative, I must be familiar with the institution’s policies and be able to clearly explain them to prospective students. It is also important to inform them that all rules and procedures are detailed in the academic catalog, which they can refer to at any time.

I’ve learned how important it is to have my own reference guide, including copies of key documents such as the university catalog, enrollment agreement, marketing plan, organizational chart, student handbook, CIE regulations and definitions, and more.

Having these resources at hand allows me to provide accurate and consistent information to prospective students, as well as to their friends and family. It also reinforces the importance of being certified and in full compliance with CIE requirements.
