Online courses are about finding ways to keep students engaged, building a sense community via the computer screen. Picking up strategies of balancing live sessions with independent work and creating assignments that actually measure learning instead of just filling time.
In this module, I learned the importance of understanding different communication methods and how to apply them effectively in interactions with students and colleagues. I realized that active listening and empathy are essential to create genuine connections and to conduct interactions in a more structured way. I intend to apply these concepts in my academic and professional routine, using listening techniques and body language observation to improve the quality of my interactions and to support the learning process of students.

It is important, as instructors, that we familiarize themselves with the course delivery techniques and strategies. We need to understand the delivery methods and how to effectively navigate and use our course management system.
I have learn that body language is important . Also the tone of your voice on the phone is important. Also learn the communication style of your co workers. Always let your perspective students know the value of your education that you are providing them.
