What I learn from this module is to know your audience prior to the design your course, and is necessary to revise the course throughout the process to enhance student learning process. Module consistency template enhances the learning process and reduces student anxiety as students navigate through the course.
Consistency in module development will make the learning process familiar and approachable throughout the process.
Creating a data base holding system will greatly ease my time management system. Placing my class resources into the data base will enhance my skills library.
1: it's all about the student.
2: Make it easy for the student. Easy to find things because the layouts are consistent, easy to predict brain-drain because the lengths are consistent, easy to understand because one "chunk" of knowledge via "learning objects" because each leads to another, and easy to feel at home because the voice is consistent.
3: Make it relevant. Every lesson contributes to the goal of the course as stated in the learning objectives.
It is important to keep formatting easy to use, easy to understand, and consistent.
Making sure the course modules are all the same for students to navigate through courses easily. Students will gain a better understanding this way. Another important aspect I learned is ensuring the content being used has meaning and purpose.
I learned that it is important to be consistent in the deliverance of your content.
When authoring, make sure to use consistent fonts, colors, and limit bolding.
Consistency, Organization, Scafffolding, and Chunking are crucial to the success of students who are completing inline courses and modules. It is also important to test out any materials being used. Another important factor is ensuring the content being presented is meaningful and purposeful.

This module has made me think more about the importance of creating learning objects. I teach high school students business and have considerable content overlap between classes. By focusing on creating learning objects that are usable across classes, I can provide richer learning opportunities while maximizing my time and efforts.
Consistency is key. I have found that the more consistent that I was, the better for my students. They also had a sort of normalcy that they liked.
My take away is consistency is key in building your online course. I have experienced a course where the objectives were not aligned with the lesson and expectations were not fully established- it had too many gray areas with assignment directions.
Reinforced the emphasis of consistency in module development
I have learned the importance of describing (and explaining) the usefulness of the learning-objects database; and, how it immediately provides students access to resources.
Consistency in my templates...
In this module I have learned so far how to create, test the created module and maintain the learning within the modules. I think that this is the most important part to start the class out and keep the momentum of the class. I will use this information to make my courses and testing it and organizing the lessons and content.
Something I took away is the importance of continuity from module to module. Not only do they need to look the same but they need to continue to scaffold from one to the next to the next.
When using online modules, I've learned that being consistent with the information provided seems to help students. Changing the modules to make it different each time can confuse and discourage students.
I understand while using a student centered approach, students will depend on sequencing of the content modules to reinforce and broaden their own learning.
