The type of learners was verry insightful to help rewcognize what types there are so that you can come up with an effective method to manage it to help benefit the student, keep it from interfering with other learners, as well as making sure it does not over take the instructor as weel.
I think I will be more aware of conduct and interaction between students.
Managing Online behavior is especailly challeging due to personal behavoirs and personalities. To me, this has always been the biggest challenge for me. The bigger the class, the more personalities and potential confliects may happen. The topics covered here really help me focus on how to recognize and resolve these issues before they get out of control. I'm really grateful for this course.

The most meaningful definition of leadership is taking care of the poeple in your charge. You must be able to adapt to help everyone and encourage them into believeing they can be successful.

In this module I've learned about different situations that can ocure while teaching an online course, and how to deal with them in an asertive way.
As an online intructor it is ver important to manage the learning enviroment in a good way, identifying conducts and manage them with the correct strategies.
In this module, I have learned: (a) Keeping course records, (b) communicating with students, (c) counseling students, (d) dealing with undesirable behavior, (e) resolving student conflicts and (f) minimizing student attrition. The topics that I will apply for future trainings to profesors will be: dealing with undesirable behavior and resolving student conflicts.

There are several different types of e-learners. In my experience, this is true, especially if we as instructors are present in the classroom. E-learners behavior similarly such in traditional settings and should be handled with institutional policies and procedures to remove conflicts.

Keeping the lines of communication open with all students is key to successful students & teachers. In an online environment, communication can take place in many ways. Use all of them and make the students feel supported!
Managing conflict is key to having a productive, online experience. I'll build on my institution's existing policies. I recognize that i need to learn more about how to efrfectively manage my students in an online class. In this regard, Module 4 provided some very helpful tips.

That many students drop from online courses for technical difficulties. We can facilitate the use of technical support to help student.
Administering a pre-course survey to identify potential problems that could contribute to attrition is a great best practice I learned in this module. I also liked the way we can anticipate potential problems by clearly communicating course expectations to the students and how we can continue to motivate students and encourage them to stay engaged in their online course learning process.

This module was very helpful identifying and providing ideas and strategies to address conflict and other disruptive on line behaviors. It is easier to identify while face to face I have learned that you need to do what you can to decrease the attrition rate and offer support as needed.
