Create lesson plans with multiple learning/teaching styles in short increments will help build success for you and your students. 

It is important to get to know the students and their learning styles and accomodate for their success. 

I liked the reference to the tree trunk being the core, and then the branches. Great concept!

I learned to lead by example, and use resources for help if needed. 

I learned that participation and communication may be difficuly in online learning, but us as instructors have the tools to make the process easier and effective. 

Use asynchronous discussions to eencourage all students to provide input and perspectives, and use this to help each other learn. 

I learned that it is important to keep the enviorment as close to in person as possible. Ex: Giving the students my background and engage in theirs. 

I think that it is important we relay as much information as we can to the online students, and be available for them when they need extra help, etc.
