Positive reinforcement through effective communication and classroom management.

Using positive language can make all the difference for students.  It's like manifestation - if you start off by throwing out a negative association with something, you're going to attract a negative outcome.

Meet students where they are at, but still having structure. Giving talkative students a chance to talk in an appropriate setting, or quiet students a way to still voice their mind without having to speak it in front of everyone.

if we gain the students attention and redirect their focus through different and unorthodox methods, it makes it possible to keep the student on their toes and paying attention.

Have a positive outlook and use positive language.

I like the different techniques of how to address various student behaviors.

I really learned from the tips on how to handle and class that is rowdy or starting to get out of control. I mainly teach lab classes so I don't have too many issues, but I like the idea of starting each class with a fun activity to encourage to students to be on time to class.

Enforcing a positive environment in the classroom helps to motivate the students to become engage and embrace the learning environment.

To use positive words instead of negative.  To calm students down positively.  Also to engage the students In their own learning.

I learned techniques for dealing with an unruly class and how to turn a negative into a positive.

Have students hold up a pencil to ask a question to give them time to think about it first.

remain positive. I like the idea of writing questions on paper to allow the intravert students to get their question out

Being positive and encouraging with our student can really help them succeed.

I learned that I need to be a learner when teaching, not to think I have to have all the answers but can allow others to give their input. Being positive with my words. I liked the ideas about if someone has a question or needs a break and lastly, love the negasauras to nip negativity in the bud
