Learning about the different ways a question can be asked and what is measures from the student was extremely helpful.

Bloom's was a great insight to all the ways a student should be able to answer questions about a topic.

I already try to use a form of a flipped classroom by assigning a ticket to class from my students. This is work that is completed in order to be prepared for the activities during class time. It gives them a knowledge base to build off of in class. It is also worth a small portion of their grade.

I have learned to use the List of five to get the class engaged and started into the days topics.

Slide Share is totally new to me but sounds like a great resource to use.

The Pygmalion effect was totally new to me. I also like the thought of reviewing after each class to see how stratigies are working or not working for the learner.

I feel like learning activities helps keep the learner engaged and allows them to learn without knowing they are learning. Debriefing is important to see how the activities are accepted by the learner.

I have learned a lot about the colors used in a classroom. I never thought about the way the tables and chairs are set up in my classroom. I am brainstorming a new way to decorate and arrange it.

I have learned ways to be more positive towards my learners. I also like the technique of have an object that is funny to pass around to try to get rid of negativity.

Acknowledging things that do not work can help an instructor to improve their teaching.
