I enjoyed learning about the different types of questions based on what time of learning you are looking for

It was really helpful for me to read the components of a good question and the alternatives to "any questions" at the end of a class period. From my side, it seems like this is inviting any confusion from the topic, but it was helpful to read how students interpret that question and good replacements.

I love the idea of a flipped classroom. It puts the control of learning in the hands of the students.

I have not put much focus on the ending of my lectures, and this opened my eyes to the importance.

This section offered many useful resources I can incorporate into my classroom!

I enjoyed learning about the different options and apps that students can use and that I can input my PowerPoint slides in without having to redo entire lectures.

I had not heard of the Pygmalion effect, but I am glad it is something I am already incorporating! I also enjoyed learning about the different ways to tap into memory. It will be extremely helpful to start thinking about in my lectures.

Simulations are good learning activities and help the students retain the information better. I am always trying to relate what we are learning to the hands on work and real world the students will be working in when they graduate.

As a new instructor, I am always looking for ways to improve my lectures. I loved learning about the influence color has and the idea of music appealing to different brain waves!

I learned how to phrase things in a more positive and encouraging way.
