I learned more about strategies for the different learning styles. For example, I would not have thought that chewing gum or throwing a ball would have anything to do with the Kinesthetic. I thought it was specific to hands on learning about the subject.

As someone who has often benefited from education styles that went away from the standard read and apply or death by power point, I have and will continue to push for diversification of teaching and learning styles.

I will tailor my teaching methods to cover all learning styles - auditory, written, visual & kinesthetic, so that I can complement each student's varied learning style.

It is good to consider the different learning styles to vary my approach in teaching, and also be aware of which students respond best to which type of learning style, so I can make an attempt to address people in their preferred style when the need arises.

I learned that having a variety of teaching styles will help each student better understand the course if I offer different ways of learning the subject.

Best way of learnings will be achieved if all available modalities are used.

By learning different learning styles, I can create an environment where students can recall, connect, and apply their understanding of learning their concepts. Moving forward, addressing areas where students face challenges—such as clarifying key concepts, strengthening connections with prior knowledge, and refining real-life applications—will further enhance their learning experience. Consider applying different  learning styles and providing additional examples, more targeted practice, and perhaps offering more varied forms of feedback to help students refine their ability to grasp and retain the concepts. Thank you for offering this course!

In reviewing this course thus far.  We all have different learning styles.  I think it's important to try to teach/reach all learning styles if possible when instructing.  As some students could find a new way of learning.  I am more of a visual / kinesthetic learner.

This content helped me reflect on my teaching and reinforce reaching every type of student. Especially beneficial was the reminder of doing a learning style assessment on the first day of class and to design more ways to reach the kinesthetic learners in the class.

It is important to incorporate different learning styles in the classroom. It helps student to maximize, retain and apply information learning while making the greatest impact.

There are different learning styles, auditory, visual, and verbal. Students respond to different learning styles and teachers need to know these styles to help better teach their students.

When instructing a large group with differing learning styles, incorporating multiple teaching styles can help enhance learning.

This module emphasized the importance of understanding and addressing different learning styles—Auditory, Written, Visual, and Kinesthetic—in the classroom. It highlighted that students have unique preferences for how they learn, and as an instructor, it’s crucial to vary teaching methods to engage all learners. By incorporating diverse strategies, such as discussions, visual aids, hands-on activities, and reading materials, teachers can support students with different learning needs. Additionally, it’s important to encourage students to develop skills in other learning styles, preparing them for future success. I plan to apply this by diversifying my teaching methods and assessing students' learning preferences to enhance their learning experience.

Understanding the student learning styles can be grouped to incorporate more students in the class. Teachers can engage more students with multiple techniques instead of straight lectures. Hand on learners( Kinesthetic)  will do better when they touch and learn through conducting experiment. Auditory  learners grasp lectures easier. It is important as an instructor that you do not just incorporate your own learning style and use multiple techniques.

It is essential to consider different learning styles when teaching to enhance information retention and ultimately set student's up for a successful learning environment by incorporating as many learning styles as possible while teaching. Working in groups is also beneficial as students learn from each other and will get to experience and try their classmate's learning style.

I found it interesting that students can score 10-15% higher on assessments when they are presented in the student's dominant learning style.

I like the idea of using groups of students with different learning styles.  This allows students to work with their preferred learning style while learning from others with different learning styles.

Taking into consideration the different learning styles will help each and every student learn much more effectively.

By understanding that all students learn differently, trying different methods to deliver the information you can see what benefits your class the most.

There is deferent learning style and different ways to teach even tho students will be able to help each other by learn from each other
