To be aware of different learning style and be willing to take the time to cater to your students so they get the most out of the education they are paying for.
One of the most valuable concepts I learned is that students have different learning styles and benefit from a variety of instructional methods. Some students learn best through visual materials, while others prefer listening, reading, discussion, or hands-on activities. Instructors should design lessons that incorporate multiple teaching strategies to engage all learners and improve knowledge retention. In my nursing courses, I plan to combine lectures, demonstrations, videos, group discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice to meet diverse learning needs. By creating an inclusive learning environment that accommodates different learning preferences, I hope to increase student engagement, confidence, academic success, and overall course completion.
That not one way of presenting the information will succeed in everyone understanding the course. There is the auditory, the visual, and the hands-on learners. Learn how to combine each one in short 15–18-minute sessions and then instructor should deliver the information to everyone in the class.
By changing the delivery method of the content, you will be able to reach the different learning styles of the students.
teaching in a variety of ways is beneficial for both the instructor and the students
teach in a variety of ways looks the best way
teaching in a variety of ways is the best way works for me
A 10 to 15 percent higher score is possible for low and average achievers on course content tests when they are given using the students' dominant learning styles.
Ive learned that there are a number of different learning styles and it is important to preset the material in a number of different ways in order to reach all students and their learning demands.
I learned to teach in a variety of ways.
I learned that people have different learning styles and that using strategies that match those styles can improve understanding and retention. I, also, learned that learning assessments are important because they help measure progress and identify areas of improvements. I plan to apply the knowledge by using study techniques that match preferred learning styles in hopes that each student can learn individually and benefit from group work and see how others study can assist in achieving better results.
As an instructor, it's best to integrate different teaching styles to promote learning for all students.
I have learned what will make students retain information better and faster.
I understand the each child may learn in a different way, by hearing, seeing, and hands on are some of the ways a student may learn. To reach each student, i need to be flexible and creative with my teaching approach
It best if you can vary the teaching styles, but for some subjects to lend themselves to a particular style so you can just interject a different style at appropriate times which also helps break up the lessons to keep the students engaged.
integrating different styles of teaching will help keep the students involved and attentive. Visuals help a lot since adult attention spans are 15-18 minutes.
Using different teaching style will assist all students in learning and understanding the material.
TEACHING7 LEARNING STYLES
i remember being a student and taking a learning style assessment, this course reminded me of the importance of planning for all learning preferences. I most definately will remember to implement one with a google form so I am able to reflect on the learning styles preferred to create better learning outcomes
It's important to now ad practice different ways of teaching that could match different learning styles. Current generation who are using cell phones and computer they're most likely visuals and auditory. That can be good targeted point in teaching
