Great information about the different technologies to help students with disabilities.

I agree that in most job settings, especially skilled job settings that accommodations are not given due to the work being performed .

Great information on the different types of disabilities.

This helped me have a better understanding of the reading disabilities.

My understanding is to use the testing format that best fits you subject matter.

What I gathered was there are many different ways to assess students and that you need to use the method of assessment that aligns with the process at hand.

I like to be in open interactions with the students by them asking questions. Most of the time if the students have a question for me I always tell them to think about their question or problem first before asking because a majority of the time they answer their own question in the question that they ask.

I agree with trying to combine the different types of learners on a project because they will all have an area where their individual learning style will be needed.

The problem I have is adjusting from industry to the classroom. I have to stop myself many times and slow down because once your use to doing things you forget that your students have never done what you are demonstrating before.

The situation that I have ran into is that most of my disruptive students do not want to be in the class. They did not sign up for the class and are shoved in here regardless. I just try to work with them and find out what their interest are so maybe I can find an area in my subject that aligns with their interest.
