I have found my content and hands on approach to learning works well with challenging students.  Keeping them engaged and busy keeps them out of trouble.

CTE courses use a lot of skill based tests which seem relative to how we are "tested" in the real world.  It's puzzling why other content areas do not utilize it more.

I appreciate all the various ways to properly assess students.

There is a lot more to questioning than I knew.  I like the Socratic method and was pleased to find that I do a lot of that without knowing its formal origin.

I liked the recommendation to be sure I am not always teaching in my own preferred learning style.  It has made me think about how I primarily deliver instruction.

I was surprised to see that 30-50% of people with a learning disability also have ADD/ADHD.

There is so much intervention for young learners now than when I was in school. It is great that early intervention is being prioritized.
