I have learned from this module the importance of learning correct terminology and legal protections for schools and students as it relates to college admissions. 

As the program director and admissions director I have learned that being organized is the key. To have a binder/notebook with easy to access information will be helpful not just to the staff but also future students. 

Hello, in this section of the course I learned the importance of keeping an up to date binder, well labeled for easy access. Staying organized will help enhance my position and altimately the program. 

I have learn that it is important to know the regulation and maintaining a notes through out the course, it will help with keeping you with update and organized. 

I Have learned the vital role I play as an Admissions Director. The importance of understanding the different terminology when it comes to Admissions to be able to give my prospective students a clear understanding of our programs and regulations.  

 

Doing always what is best for the student by following all regulations and being compliant 

Making sure you keep current on changes in regulations and policies by checking CIE website at least once a month.

Hello, although this is very new to me, I have learned quite a lot of information that was foreign to me before. This module taught me how I should be informed of my institution, and how I should be updated with the constant change in rules. I've learned many important rules, this module gave me a better insight as of how to better improve my communication with my prospects. I will try my best to apply the techniques and suggestions mentioned in the module.

As a new Admissions Rep this module was insightful especially going over the vocabulary words needed to understand most terms used within this training and within this role. 

This module provided an important reminder to make sure that all the categories under Fair Consumer Practices are addressed with each new student during the admissions process.

In this module, I learned the importance of keeping a resource binder. This will store plenty of informative and helpful resources that I will eventually need during the job. 

Hello everyone, I am just beginning my first role as an admissions and recruitment advisor and have already seen that admissions needs to be knowledgeable of everything to do with your institution and the rules/regulations over the institution and the admissions employee. The information given in this course will help me better organize how I approach this new journey.

Learning about the Rules and definitions will help me with getting familiarized more as my role as admissions. I will be better at my roll with getting strong matches. 

Hi everyone, as an admissions officer I have learned that it's important to learn my institution's regulations and policies. This will allow me to expand my knowledge and have correct information to provide for all our institution's prospects.

As a professional we are expected to be current on the information that is being shared with the public.  Being compliant protects the institution, the prospect/student and the professionals. This will mitigate potential issues and heighten the value of our services.

As a new admissions representative, I learned the different terms and definitions important for enrollment in higher education. This was very helpful! 

First time as an admissions representative and the resources are quite refreshing and the courses are definitely necessary to understand the the values of the position and the guidelines continuing forward. Definitely looking forward to this!

I learned that the training is required to regulate the information given to prospective students at each institution. This can be applied when speaking to students about enrollment.
