What I have learned is that admissions training allows you to learn about all the guidelines that affect my school. It helps my role as an admissions rep to work on and off campus.

What came up for me in this portion of the admissions training is that I would like to work more closely with our administrative assistant to create a cohesive marketing plan to better understand how students hear about our school.

I learned the specific laws and rules that we're accountable for so I can research them easily online.  

Currently working in enrollment/admissions and learning about the regulations will help me better help applicants. It also helps me and the institution to provide the highest quality service. 

This information was very useful.. even for experienced admissions officers !! 

I have learned the admissions training is an ongoing process and a benefit for the institution and the students.

Being with the Admissions department for a year I have learned it is essential to keep communication consistent with all individuals you speak to, therefore it is important to stay on top of all federal and state guidelines and statutes before providing admissions services to prospective students

It will be integral to my success as an Admissions Specialist to keep an up-to-date resource notebook to reference and actively seek out new and updated information for it.

It is vital to keep yourself updated on the rules and regulations of the admissions process.

I learned to keep up with the changes in our policy and procedures, to keep updated of changes by the CIE, and  and maintaining a notebook will help with keep me organized.

First time as an Admin Rep. the module has been helpful and interesting learning the policies to help me excel in this position. 

I learned where to find the rules and regulations and that keeping a resource book with the rules & regulations as well as our institution's policy and procedures on hand is very important and useful.

I have learned at the beginning of this course about the importance of training regarding the admissions process and policies and also the importance of constantly updating my knowledge about the rules of the Florida Department of Education. I plan to apply it from now on in the field of work.

I have learned that it is extremely important to learn all of the federal and state guidelines and statutes before providing admissions services to prospective students. It is also important to learn what specific guidelines related to my institution are before going forward.

Learning and being able to implement the appropriate policies, procedures, and processes in all catalogs, agreements, and marketing materials. 

Hello, the lesson learned is understanding the importance of instituting consistent policies, processes, procedures, and concepts in the institutions catalog and enrollment agreements as these documents serve as a binding contract.

I have a better understanding of the Admissions policies and procedures. 

I've been working in admissions for some years now and it's always helpful to have a refreshener to remember compliance concerns.

That there is a lot to know about being/becoming an Admissions Representative and about the importance of training
