Hello, I am currently an Enrollment Assistant working diligently to become an Enrollment Specialist at my current institution. What I have learned so far in the initial course is my objective here is to learn and to know everything currently possible about the Florida Statutes and Rules that affect all admissions staff members and to know as much as possible about my institution and my role - to begin enrolling qualified students who will benefit from your programs.

I have learned about the importance of training regarding the admissions process, the importance of policies and the need to keep up with my knowledge about the rules of the Florida department of education.

This is my first time working in Admissions with Higher Education and I have learned valuable information from the module that I apply to my goals and success with this company. It is important to the basic terminology, polices, and different procedures and techniques to ensure proper admission.

I have learned it is helpful to keep a resource book with different tabs in order to put your notes in. Also know the terms and what they mean in order to understand the admission policies. I will continue to keep up to date with any changes or updates to remain in compliance.

I'm learning about the difference between policies and procedures.

These modules are very interesting, they've helped me have a better understanding of the terms and definitions used in the field.

Looking forward to using what I have learned here.  Definitions were clear.

I have learned that the admission policies are important and I intend to stay informed and follow the regulations and attend training as needed to stay updated

It is necessary to know about the regulations for carrying out admissions and the requirements of the personnel who will carry it out.

In this course, I learned about new/correct terms to use in the admission process. It gave me an understanding of Independent Postsecondary Educational Institutions  and FAC Codes, statues and regulations necessary for compliance. It is important to know the policies or any changes.

It is important to know the details and Process on how the Florida Commission for Independent Education work and what it requires. When talking with a prospective student, you need to show secure of the information they will ask about the enrollment process and the details about the university. From both side, is important to define if the college is a good fit for the student, as the student has to know if it is the right choice for them. I Intend to learn everything and the policies and rules, so I can give the right information to my team and possible students.

Hello! This is my first full-time position in Admission, and this module was very helpful. It gave me an understanding on how the admissions process goes and how we can be effective representatives in the field. I found the Admissions Resource Notebook section insightful because it allows us to gather information about our institutions and allows us to work off of and add notes to it when policies and procedures change, and to keep up to date with our institutions admission processes.

I have learning the concepts i need to master as an addmisions agent to fulfill the role successfully. I find it an excellent guide for constant learning.

La información es muy clara y detallada. Me parece un excelente recurso para conocer en detalle todos los procesos , normas y reglamentos implicados en esta actividad.

I have learned the CIE requires this training for all staff. Terminology and organization are essential in Admissions and crucial for success.

I have learned the importance of the compliance and knowledge of the training and institutional policies in order to provide a high quality admission officer performance and effective student orientation. I intend to apply these to my position and strive to give effective help and information to prospective and current students.

I am the Admissions Leader at my school and so far the module has been very informative. I have learned to keep a resource notebook where I will have the terms/definitions printed and placed in the notebook for record keeping. I will also keep a copy of the School's catalog and Marketing plans in there as well.  I have also learned the importance and definitions of key terms that are used commonly within our School.

Comment on Mirsada Velic's post: I agree with you. It is necessary to be organized and disciplined, as well as to be updated

I'm taking the initiative in this job. I've learned that the admissions policy is critical, and I want to stay up to speed on the laws and regulations so that I can keep my team informed.I've learnt how important it is to use the proper terminology throughout the admissions process. My role as an admissions representative at the university and how I am seen in this capacity. Florida's legislation, purpose, and commission for independent education. How far can I go as an agent. How much information to gain and apply.
I understand the necessity of keeping a resource notebook updated with dividers so that I can simply refer to it should I have a query about any policy, rules, or regulations.

As a new Admissions representative at my university. I would say this module has been very helpful to me because I've learned terminology that I previously found difficult to understand. I also appreciate that this module is comprehensive and teaches us one by one how to become more knowledgeable in this role.
