With previous military experience (20 year-retired AF Vetran) I am versed in checklist usage and ensuring compliance. Training and completing ongoing training is my forte. I am already diving into our regulations and accrediting process as we are in in the folds of it at current time with our campus. This chapter is right in the midst of what I am doing now at work.

 

This segment in the training has brought light to what the student body needs access to including but not limited to library access- we have one centrally located and an online broad database for students to use. Graduaiton ceremonys can be big or small and can be adjusted to what each institution needs. Exit interviews are great source to ensure that you are helping with job placement and help the student plan for the future. These statistics of whom gets job placement helps boost numbers for promoting your establishment. 

I  have coupled this with my institution training and related resouces to the training at hand. What is required for admissions paperwork and what is regulated for student files. We have our files scanned and located online in our database that can be transferred between different platforms for ease of access by all members along the process route. 

I have just been hired as a Director at a college in FL. I am completing this traning to learn more about the institution regulation and guidelines for FL and to ensure we stay in compliance with FL regulations. I have already learned a lot from my institution on the proess and hope to gain more knowlege of FL requirements from this course.
