I learned that telephone contact should be for between 10-20 and may nnot alwyas be effective for larger groups. Email communicatiion with studetns should be at specific times and with good instructions provided with expectations. Also, I liked the breakdown on the specific tools for small and large group interactions.

My observation of the following presentation are that there are many different tools that can be used to effectively communicate with students. Although, these tools are all useful tools, some are more effective based on size of the class or number of students. I think it is important to be able to differentiate which are more appropriate than others, especially now since technology is becoming more prevalent and utilixed in our classrooms.
What I learned is that as an instructor you have to adapted to what the students use to their adavtage that will help them become successful, times have changed and the way that we learned 10 years ago is very different than how some learn in this day and age. we have to use all this new technology to our advantage.

Technology tools sometimes can be intimidating, which is why it's necessary for us as Instructors to also step out of our comfort zone and explore new ways to implement communication tools. I'd like to explore currents apps or social media trends that our student find easy to use.
