He aprendido la importancia de la clases sincronas y asincronas y como se debe lograr un balance en lo que se conoce como hibrido.

Supportive learning, reminds me that there isn't 1 way to teach a student or group of students. Keep you student wanting to learn and provide the activities to help with that.

Guest Speakers are a great addition to the online course.

Having guest speakers in an online class is a great way to further engage students and create more personal interactions.

Combining the intellectual interaction and the lesson from this module on asynchronous chats, reminds me to be proactive and encouraging in the discussions. This allows for students to post at their own time, then having a response at a later time from me when they log in. To me, this builds rapport and a sense of community!  Kathryn

The readings need to be specific and students should have an understanding of why the readings are assigned and how they ar pertinent to the discussions and assignments.

I would really like to incorporate a question base discussion board built in to my syllabus to where weekly students must post a question on the topic of the week to a discussion board and other student have to comment on at least to student questions. I think this like Socrates can enhance student learning on the topic.

Learning activities are designed to engage students, promote understanding, and facilitate the application of knowledge. They can be employed in both online and in-person settings to achieve these goals

That a well designed course can/should have a combination of synchronous and asynchronous activities.

Improving the pool of materials to support my class

Vary the types of questions you ask in order to elicit different types of student engagement with the content.

Asynchronous and synchronous are useful with DE courses as they both provide unique benefits to keep students engaged and in a posture of learning.

In the "Learning Activities" section, I reviewed the significance of choosing supportive learning activities to enhance student engagement and content retention. Questioning techniques involve using open-ended questions, polar questions, probing questions, funneled questions, and leading questions to enhance students' learning outcomes. I intend to enhance my questioning skills when I teach my courses in the future.

I learned the benefits of each strategy that include a guest speaker, synchronous and asynchronous learning. The same strategies you use is a traditional format can be used in e-learning.

Hi! The most important thing I learned is the enormous diversity of learning activities that can be developed in online courses, combining synchronous and asynchronous instances, respecting the pace of each student and always oriented to the practical application (located) of the contents. A pleasure to greet you from Cordoba, Argentina!

This section of the course has provided me with very valuable information about the tips to keep in mind when creating activities in online courses. Thanks for that!

I think that activities must be created based on the interests and goals of the students themselves, to encourage them to complete them in their entirety.

Interesting point of view about the elearning composition.

I have learned that the type of question asked can directly impact the type of answer from the student and how this can be implemented into my teaching and developing deeper discussions and understanding for my students.

I learned the diffferent types of questions that could be used: polar, leading, funnel, probing, open-ended.
