This module provides the instructor with techniques to project their presence to the learner to reassure them they have the support of the instructor.  Also, recommendations for demonstration an instructors qualification and authority to teach the course.

Instructional System Design (ISD) is designed to produce effective courses for learners.  Applying the steps of Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation result in a well-thought-out plan of instruction. Course components are critical to facilitate learning and for the learner to demonstrate understanding of the information knowledge learned.  From the presentation of the syllabus to the final exam, the developer must produce components that encourage learning.

This topic focuses on supportive learning activities for course design.  Interactive learning activities will encourage learners to access and use the material more efficiently.  I will take advantage of utilizing focused relevant information sharing techniques useful to the desired learning outcome.  While the asynchronous method is important, setting time for the entire class to be present is also a good way to increase interaction and learning.  The learning activities must also be supported by the learning management system the institution uses to present to the learners.  Finally, I like the approach of not having to assign an entire book or… >>>
