In our present world conditions, it will be difficult to live a stress-free life. We can eliminate or have a reduction in stress but we will not be able to live stress free. This module points out a number of ways to eliminate and or reduce stress, but that will also take so me time to do, knowing that we have been hanging on to the old ways of living and surviving with stress at home or in the workplace.

I like the idea of trying to categorize stressors in ways to reduce or eliminate

I like the idea of eliminating, reducing, and coping with stress. The downside is that some people will be angry that you eliminated something that involves them. We should be cautious about this, but frankly sometimes people will not even consider you or put unreasonable expectations on you, so the issue is actually them. 

Always take the time to care for yourself, get enough sleep.

IDENTIFY THE STRESS AND DETERMINE THE CAUSES AND ELIMINATE THEM

To do lists can be made to accomplish eliminating or reducing the stress in your life.  Choose healthy options to manage the stress you have instead of turning to bad habits like alcohol, nicotine and staying up late / not sleeping.

A 15 minute walk does wonders to reduce stress.

I have effective time management can be a way to eliminate certain stressors. IT is best to focus on one stressor at a time than as a whole in the long run.

stress-free living involves using various strategies and making lifestyle changes to manage and reduce stress. While we may not be able to eliminate stress completely, these methods can help you handle it better and improve our overall well-being.

I appreciate the strategy presented that talked about taking on one stressor at a time.  I find that this is related to the earlier topics of time management.  Prioritization and to-do-list thinking seems to be key here when "chipping away" at a stressor.  

Reduce stress by maintaining a to-do list and prioritizing it. Stay organized will increase productivity and getting more done. 

Stress has so many effects on the body.

Life is stressful. We cannot control many aspects of it. However, we can try to manage it.

This course helped me to remember the importance of managing my time wisely and its impact on my stress.

Also, I think it is important to share our knowledge with others, especially if we see them struggling. 

Learning healthy coping mechanisms can save our lives and others.

 

stress management can truly be a mountain for some folks, these are some good ways to help cope with stress. 

Stress, especially in post-secondary education, is something that many students as well as instructors have a hard time with. I mostly engage in my stressors with temporary relief, whether it is junk food or procrastination at home. By adhering to a strict schedule and developing a checklist for reducing stressors, I plan to see better results in the near future. The one major stress reducer in my life is conversing with my folks. It never ceases to surprise me how much talking to family members can help reduce the pains of stress!

Stress can definitely impact an instructor, but it can also affect a student's ability to learn, focus, or complete tasks.

I learned to make a list of my stressors, and ways to eliminate or reduce each of them...one-by-one.

I'm already a huge advocate for minimal stress.  Of course life has deadlines, but we can still make it fun while accomplishing the tasks we're required to get done in the process.

It's important to use different mechanisms to cope with different stressors.
