I have effective time management can be a way to eliminate certain stressors. IT is best to focus on one stressor at a time than as a whole in the long run.

I find that my biggest stressor is balancing being a single parent, doing everything on my own and still continuing to pursue my own dreams. I want my child to be proud of me.

This module highlighted the importance on organizing tasks efficiently. I will incorporate making a designated time to check my emails so that I wont have the need to check back every few hours.

In this module I have learned about how Immediacy can also be negative. It takes you away from the things that you have collectively set to do by putting it to the side to complete a new task.

I learned the importance of instructor engagement in the online setting. I also took away the bullet points of what should be done to show/provide support for the students.

The methods of teaching have left the classroom and have become digital. A lot of courses can be taken online and require instructors to be able to engage within an online platform. Being able to navigate different areas within the teaching modules is key to productivity.

I have learned the important of implementing different teaching styles to cater to various methods of learning.

It is very important to give your student a sense of comfortability. What I mean by comfort is that you want your student to be able to know their flow of their upcoming coursework, deadlines and being able to reach out when they need anything.

What I took away from this module is that preparation is KEY. Since I will be the model for my students in the demonstrations of my actions during class time, it is also important to be able to prepare a syllabus of the items that will be targeted in discussion and throughout the course. It gives structure and stability with the teacher and student.

I learned many different things from this model. But what stood out to me the most was to never make it seem like I am the smartest one in the class. This is something that I have always had engraved in my mind while out on the field as well. There is always a different approach to everything and I believe feedback from student or peer is valuable. I still cherish feedback from teachers growing up and valued it into my adult/professional life.
