As an instructor knowing the objectives of what you're teaching can be better categorized by using Bloom's Taxonomy and maintain a balance between each domain for a successful learning experience.

Asking a variety of questions to the students will give you a better sense of mastery of the students. 

After asking a student a planned question silence and let the student formulate an answer, also if they don't get the answer correctly guide the student with a follow up question trying to get them to the correct answer.

Using old technology and new technology in various ways can be beneficial to a broader generational base of students.

I've learned that you need to start motivative and strong, but just as important you must end motivative and strong.

It's important to ask for feedback about different instructional styles.

As instructors we have be careful and consider all the steps to take when advising students. Also know when to guide them to someone with higher expertise and knowledge that could advise them in making a wise decision.

Is always important to listen and have that moment to reflect before answering a question or making a statement.  

I've learned and agreed that educational institutions should focus on the principal objective which is educating students.

I've learned that for adult learners you as an instructor must consider other factors that affect them that may not necessarily affect a younger student coming out of high school, especially when it comes to retention.
