Being prepared is key to making or breaking a class. Better to be early than late and make sure you are ready.

I think my biggest takeaway from this module was to show up early enough to be able to interact with my students, touch base with them, make sure they get it, make sure I know a little about how they are doing mentally...

Setting up and preparing for your students before hand helps save time create a guide of whats to come. Always keep a note pad handy for anything that may come up, and make sure you have all that you need prior to teaching your class.

It is important for me as the instructor to be prepared.  Making a list a the beginning of each class will help me stay focus and complete all the objectives on a specific topic.

Preparation is KEY!  Teaching environment sets the tone for learners. Setting goals and writing instructional objectives makes it clear to both students and teachers to stay on task.

I've learned that planning ahead will make things easier and less stressful when it comes to covering everything you need to cover within a timely manner.

Setting the tone for the beginning of the class that follows through with the same momentum through out the class shows consistency for the students and lets them know what to expect for future classes.

Make a checklist of what you need to accomplish that day so nothing is forgotten, ensure all lab supplies are accounted for before class starts, and arrive to class before the students ready to greet them rather than rushing around setting up.

Being prepared and having a clear knowledge of your curriculum will set you up for success with your teaching.

Accurate planning of your course translated into your syllabus not only lays a solid foundation of being prepared, it also dictates to the student what they are about to be taught within taking your class.  Also, goals and and set accomplishments to reach them are pathways to ensure great success in transfer of knowledge to students.

With the teaching environment, putting yourself in the student's perspective is a great idea.

Creating a checklist of what you are covering will help make sure you actually convey all the info you need to get through in a class.

Organization and being prepared is key!

To be more prepared and make sure I have everything I need for class. To have a notebook handy at all times, for supply lists, reminders of things coming up.

I've learned the relevance of curriculum and applying it to the classroom discussion on a solid timeline

Basically, this module stresses the importance of utilizing and keeping top-notch organization skills for the class you will teach. Extensive preparation is essential to be successful. Know the students needs and names, come to class early, have the class prepped for well in advance, have a very concise syllabus. Keeping a notepad nearby at all times will keep your thoughts organized throughout the day to not forget anything important.

Good, to be ready early for labs and talk to students before class starts.

being prepared is a key into a successful class

Arriving early to your class allows time to ensure you are prepared to meet the students, interact with everyone and keep a note pad to ensure nothing is missed and questions are answered at the end of class.

This module really stood out for me the importance of being prepared and on time for the students
