Hello!
I learned a lot from this module. To begin, I think providing examples for each assignment can help decrease confusion and also help different types of learners. I also learned to try and give choice to students since not every student learns the same. Maybe focusing on UDL to help cater to their needs can be helpful!

For me, the most useful advice concerned communication, specifically giving efficient, effective feedback as well as frequent, friendly reminders. I will continue my commitments in this area.
I also appreciate the suggestion of having students share their knowledge (especially problem solving / trouble-shooting tips) with each other via forums. I will try to encourage my students to do this in an open forum space on my LMS. However, many students are unwilling to post in a non-graded forum, so the challenge will be to tap their intrinsic motivation.
Finally, one small, concrete tip that I intend to add to my welcome messages going forward was the advice to have students record my contact methods on paper, off-line / outside of the online classroom, in case they run into technology issues that prevent them from accessing me via other contact methods. It's great to anticipate this likely possibility and help students problem-solve.
