I tend to motivate my students with the see one, do one, teach one method.

I enjoyed learning about the importance of providing motivation for students.
Instructors should be motivators. Offering your expertise is a huge motivator for students. This models behavior and the Instructor is looked at as a skilled professional in the career area.
One of the biggest reasons why students drop out- is because of all the time and resources they are expected to commit on school. Students find that they just dont have the time to get everything in their lives done.
This module illustrated the importance of keeping and maintaining student motivation. Keeping students motivated is integral to their success in their program. Ensuring your expertise on your subject matter, being empathetic to student situations both in the learning environment as well as any outside stressors that may impact their ability to learn successfully is essential.
The instructor must dell the student on the value of their chosen profession and importance of achieving their goals
Students will require motivation to encourage learning; therefore, as an instructor it is important to reinforce students learning by providing positive feedback.
Involve them, share experiences from the field, be knowledgeable about the subject at hand. keeping them interested will overall keep them interested in the particular trade they want to thrive in. as instructors its our job to influence, motivate, ensure understanding and be thorough enough that they understand, grasp and retain the knowledge learned.

Student learning is driving by a students motivation which is demonstrated in a variety of ways; self promotion, external pressure, or other reasons. Reinforcement and motivation can help with student success.
Tying in real life experiences with lecture will help students retain information better
It helps to be passionate about the subject matter and connect the info taught with real world situations.
Knowing the subject matter and applying to real life situations for the students is very helpful.
From this module I learned it is easy to motivate students when you care about each individual student and not seeing them as one class, but different people who are in your class for many different reasons. It is our job to motivate and excite them.
Encouragement was one thing that kept me in my program when I wanted to quit. These instructors kept encouraging me not to leave, gave me study tips, and made sure I got my work done. So my experience of encouragement has been both emotionally and physically beneficial for me.
I learned the power of knowledge and preparation, although it is also known as competence, substance, content, or experience.
