Sometimes, a cohort would have mostly independent learners. Other times, those that love working as a group. I learned the different roles that can possibly have in a group, things I haven't thought about. It would be nice to keep these in minds for the next group activity.

I've learned other ways that facilitator differs from scholar, such as facilitator uses inductive reasoning while scholar uses deductive reasoning. It can also be implemented in classroom management as well. I've learning about learning plan and not just lesson plan. Also the Fundamental 5 and the levels of human cognition.

I've learned of the different non verbal cues and how they can be important when interacting with students or just people in general. 

I learned that using different types of testing method is a great way to track student progress

Assessing the student is essential in teaching. Use varied forms of assessment to maximize studednt knowledge

I've learned that creatively creating questions for students help me, the teacher, check on their understanding, and them as the student engage. There's a few ways to create these questions: straightforwardly, personally and even thought-provokingly. And to not forget the shy and quiet ones.

I’ve learned that it’s best to implement different ways to cater to different learning styles. Students would greatly benefit from this.

I learned to be aware of students that have learning disabilities. Hopefully, students would be comfortable enough to approach a teacher with their disabilities so that he/she can help them better and that the students may also help themselves by letting the teacher know what ways helped them in the past. I also learned that there are 5 categories of common learning disabilities, to which I really only have been aware of the most common one: dyslexia. 

I learned about the alternative ways to help diverse learners understand better. Repetition is key. When introduced with new words, make sure to pronounce slowly, give definition and then examples to help them connect and retain the information. Also use instructional supports.
