It is good to have a lesson plan when teaching. 

It is good to have the students completed guided notes during lecture. This will allow them to participate in their learning instead of just sitting and being fed the information and not remembering.

Reviewing the material with the students will help them with the knowledge needed. Making the content applicable will allow the students to learn better.

I plan to use the active teaching strategies in my classroom. I concur that the passive teaching of just lecturing can be difficult to determine how much the students are learning.

I learned that each learner is unique. Whatever works for one does not necessarily work for everyone.

Creating an engaging classroom is conducive to learning. Instructor must learn the needs of the student to be able to create successful environment.

Different learning approach is a great idea. Simulation with debriefing is the best.

Seat charting can be effective in the classroom. Always be reminded that the shy students might not want to participate in groups. The shy students can be encouraged to sit in the front of the classroom. Playing music can be another effective method of learning, however one must be mindful of the type of music to play.

There are different styles of teaching, and the instructor can learn new information as they teach.

Teachers may permit instructions to be recorded. Students with dyslexia may at an average or above average student.
