Treating my college students like college students. Using effective strategies to help engage and develop further learning process.
Taking 15 minutes before class going over classroom material will help an instructor be more organized and prepared to deliver content to students in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

Have control of your class, be professional, know your lessons, continue to learn , Do not be a buddy. Set an example for your students.
- Be prepared, enthusiastic and knowledable of the material being presented. Utilize different methods of organizing and presenting class content. Maintain a positive role for the students to motivate them.

I have learn that I play three roles :
Modelm: role model the way I present myself in the professional manner such as my dress code
Manager: manage all aspect of my teaching
Motivator: a motivator encouraging student, avoiding being a babysiter
This helps to better understand the different roles we play as instructors such as Model, Manager and Motivating our students. Maintaining all three in the most Professional Manner.
It was good to learn to know your own strengths and weaknesses and to find your own teaching style based on the content and your passed learning style from good professors.
Always find ways to improve your teaching methods. Whether its from reading, taking a course or just attending a seminar. It will not only benefit you but your students as well.
Model, manage and motivate. I need to have a professional development plan
You have to have a passion to teach and enjoy your subject matter. Secondly you have to understand from different student learning abilities when reveiwing each lesson plan. Apply your classrom management to model and motivate.
Take this as a learning experience every day and grow based off of self reflection and assessment.
Its not just what you know but how you present it to the students and how you present yourself. Be mindful of these aspects and strive to be the professional leader that you students exspect.
This module helped reinforce my view that you don't have to the stuffy, know it all to run an effective class. I'm of the opinion that learning should be fun, which then makes it engaging.

Model for my students the behaviors I know will make them successful in the field.
Reflect to determine see your growth aqnd development. Know your strengths and weaknesses and concentrated on the improving the weak areas by taking appropriate courses
