After completing this course.  I was able to realize some of the flaws that most educators forget about because they are too busy trying to get the students out and on their way.

Excellent and reminder of ways to make myself a better instructor.  

The delivery style is just as important as the content to be taught. If the style is ineffective to the students, they will not learn. Being organized will also assist with student learning as they will see professionalism modeled. I plan to work on creating syllabi and lesson plans to make myself more comfortable with the process. I also plan to determine the best way to organize lecture notes so that my lectures are organized and students are engaged in learning.

Approaching students who do not participate often should be handled with care. If you are not careful it can blow up in your face. It happened to me. The student was offended that I noticed.

My first as an educator was eye opening, I have learned you can see the eagerness to learn in someone's yes. You can sense that they are depending on you to delivery your best. The students want to learn and want to be successful. I have learned that I can be there for a student who gives their 100% and I can support someone who is not so inclinded to do their best.  Best practices for me is to be consistant, prepare an action plan. The training made me more aware of the challenges and ways to be more flexible in presentation of class objectives.  Some groups need more structured curriculum than others. Giving the students the "Why?" helps them to engage in the learning. 

The course helped me re-think my questioning techniques to include more open ended type questions during class reviews and discussions. I also need to allow more wait times for responses to answers and in redirecting questions to other students

I have taught all grades from K - 12, to graduate school. I find the latter the most rewarding. I am able to be more myself. Perhaps it is because of the commonality of age in most cases. But more so, we share life experiences.

I am always prepared, sometimes over prepared because I want to be sure the students are getting what is being presented. I usually have content left over which helps with the next session. Change the types of tests that I give my students.

After moving to online instruction, a few tips that have helped me keep students engaged are; checking every evening and give feedback on grades.  Students don't want to wait 24 to 48 hours to see if they understand the material correctly to move on to the next assignment.  Make sure to switch some of the assignments up. Listening to lecture every week and answering questions can be monotonous and boring. Give praise. Students will continue to work hard and value you as an instructor if you give them positive feedback. 

I'm looking forward to being much more deliberate about designing formative assessments with the goal being to measure success (teacher and student). 'Tests' have developed a bad reputation in part but really they are constructive checks on learning and teaching and can function as encouraging endorsements as well as supportive course correctors. I plan to 'sneak' enjoyable, content and adult appropriate checks into course design as much as possible.

I remember when I first went to the front of the classroom to teach my first own class and I remember feeling comfortable. I believe that some of the qualities mentioned in this class and the other classes I took was already in me. Be creative, inspire students and be transparent. Set a good example-a role model

I teach nursing skills which I first provid a overview about the skills then I demonstrate it. I asked them do they have any questions.  I see students learn best after they are given a understanding the importance of the skills.  

This has open up my eyes to so many new adventures that i can carry into the classroom. This is a win win for both me and my students. 

Be a person, put your students at the heart of your lesson rather than simply the content, and keep a little notepad with you at all times.

The article has a lot of terminology that needs a specialist ,we are instructor we have common general knowledge we need more simple language and less time consuming because we have a lot of students to take care of .we don't have a privilege to spend days just to finish one quiz each assessment need course or take a class ,
