So far, I have learned the difference between compliance and a culture of compliance. Compliance is the act of doing what you have been asked and simply following rules and regulations, while a culture of compliance is far more than just complying. It is about doing the right thing for the right reasons.
Encouraging a culture of compliance isn't just about benefiting the school—it's about setting students up for success. I believe our mission is to empower everyone with the education and skills not only to land jobs, but to make a real impact in society and our community.
Compliance is very important because it’s part of the blueprint of the organization
Building a culture of compliance ensures all of us are in alignment with doing what is best for the student and the organization as a whole. Not just oneself.
I have learned the importance of not just being compliant, but to be compliant to ensure your customers/ students are served well also.
Build a foundation of trust. Good expectations can lead to good action.
Our school must have a defined mission statement that communicates its core value, goals and objectives are per its activities to promote trust and truth to its regulations that will allow for the students to have the finest outcomes for their career goals. These regulations must be a part of the day to day culture of the school.
It allows us to build a better standard within the organization for those we are helping that place their trust in us for their future.
Trust is the first characteristic while Transparency is the key to culture compliance.
A culture of compliance creates a strong foundation for the company.
Understanding the distinction between being compliant and sustaining a culture of compliance is very important to note. As stated in the training the difference rest up the motives for why we do it in the first place.
Compliance is an opportunity to inspire efficiency and maintain growth without loss or fears. Culture is referred to as share values like behavior, and standards that make up the work environment or standards of a campus
I will consistently apply the policies and procedures per usual!
When a school’s representatives are honest, fair and forthcoming, and their words and actions have students’ best interests at heart, a foundation of trust is created.
I learned more about the compliance structure and will implement these pillars in my daily actions.
Representatives must stay in compliance, be ethical, and be transparent. Do the right thing.
