It was interesting to learn about Universal Design. 

As an instructor, it is important to understand the different disabilities of students.

Its imperative to notify students of disability rights and accomodations. 

It is imperative for staff to understand FERPA and follow the rules.

Educating staff and students about the policies is imperative.

The Title IX Coordinator should be present and approachable for students and staff to feel comfortable making a report.

Transparency builds trust. 

Accreditation assist students in trusting the institution.

Compliance is great but the culture of compliance is truly doing the right thing.
