Admission staff should maintain professional ethics, acting with integrity and avoiding any conflicts of interest. Applicants should be treated with respect and provided with accurate information, guidance, and support throughout the process. It's important to build trust and maintain credibility.

Hello,

I have been working in Admissions for 5+ years, however this information is extremely useful and great for my current position as a Admissions Representative at FTC's The Dave School.

I understand that an Admissions employee must learn and understand the rules as stipulated by the Florida Department of Education as pertains to independent post secondary schools to enable compliance. The admissions employee must first understand the institution's admission and students' enrollment policies and procedures before starting to function in this role. To enable this, the admission employee will need to make and have available her resource notebook that will contain necessary State, Institution's policies, protocols, terminologies and forms.

I learned about the importance to have the knowledge to follow CIE policies during the admission process.

Having worked in the commercial education sector for over 15 years, this class is introducing the state rules for interaction on many levels and provides a clear expectation for the requirements for my new role.

I have learned the more educated I am in this field the more equipped I will be in doing my job and providing good service to the students.

Hi,

This is my first course as a student coordinator and this course has been really helpful. So far, I've learned important terminology, polices, procedures, and rules. I also found helpful the creating a Resource Notebook to keep track of new changes and crucial information.

Hello,

I am keeping up to date with my annual training and it is always nice to be refreshed with all of the definitions to promote successful recruiting.

What I have learned is that I have to be specific in how I represent myself. I cannot use titles such a advisor or counselor. I also learned that I need to get acclimated to my school's policies. It is also good to keep a notebook with at least the different terms used in education.

It is extremely important to learn and understand admissions rules and regulations to ensure that I am always truly doing what is best for the student and also ensuring that I am doing the right thing even when nobody is looking!

I have learned the important of the Admission policies and procedures.

Good skills to know so we can do our job ethically

A admission counselor has a very important role, they have the ability to help the students decide rather the school is a good fit; It help when the counselor is organize using a note book it is very helpful and a organization chart; a\And the knowledge to answer all question

I intend to use the knowledge that I gain from the course to train admissions advisors in compliance with CIE

This section on enrollment has enlighten me to my responsibility to be in compliance with my states rules and regulations. I will enforce the rules and regulations . I will copy rules and regulation and place in the binders and have them on site for monthly review.
